Danette Bontrager is an M.A. student in the TESL/Applied Linguistics program with a specialization in Computer Assisted Language Learning. She currently works full-time as the business administrator at the Iowa State University Study Abroad Center. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in French and Intl Management from Central College in 1992. Her scholarly interests are in linguistic/cultural competencies, second language acquisition, computer-assisted language learning, morphology, and etymology. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Mike and their cat Sylvester. She also likes to bake, do crossword puzzles, and go hiking, especially through mountains.
