Guidelines for presenters
Paper Presentations & Technology Demonstration Session
Individual presentations will last 30 minutes; 20 minutes for the presentation and 10 minutes for Q&A. Presenters are encouraged to bring their own laptops and connectors for the projectors (the connections are HDMI). If a presenter needs to borrow a laptop and/or a connector (dongle), or if any other technology requirements are needed, please contact the organizing committee (larcconference2018
Assessment Literacy Session
The assessment literacy session will last 45 minutes. Participants are encouraged to bring syllabi and teaching materials they would like to share and discuss with others in a round-table setting. Materials can be in paper format or on computer. Participants might not have access to an electrical outlet, so please ensure laptops are sufficiently charged for the session. Works in Progress Session
The entire WiP session will consist of three shorter, 15-minute presentations in a round-table setting. For each short presentation, participants will have 5 minutes to summarize their research projects for a small group and 10 minutes to answer questions and receive feedback before the group moves to other tables. Materials can be in paper format or on computer. WiP presenters might not have access to an electrical outlet, so please ensure laptops are sufficiently charged for the session.
Poster Session
The entire poster session will last 60 minutes, and poster presenters need to be on hand to discuss their posters throughout the entire session. Posters should be printed using a 48”x 36” poster template.
