Quang Nguyen is an M.A. student in the TESL/Applied Linguistic program. Quang has been tutoring English for students in Vietnam since 2002. In 2007, after graduating from Foreign Trade University, he was employed to be a lecturer in the same university. In 2009, he received a national scholarship to study Master of Business Administration in the U.S.A., and he chose GVSU in Michigan. In 2012, he returned to Vietnam and taught Marketing at FTU. He also co-founded MoonESL – a small English center in Hanoi focusing on teaching English pronunciation and communication. In 2015, he stopped teaching at the university to focus on teaching English pronunciation. In 2018, he co-presented: “Teaching Pronunciation to Adult Learners – How to be Effective” in MI TESOL conference in Michigan and in 2022, after COVID, he co-presented: “Teaching Pronunciation Online” in MI TESOL conference. Since 2016, Quang has made hundreds of instructional videos and written hundreds of articles published on the “Learning English” section on Vnexpress.net – the most popular online newspaper in Vietnam.
