About My Teaching
I am often students’ first experience in a college-level English course and I take that responsibility very seriously. It is my goal to open students to new ways of thinking, questioning, and analyzing. This is achieved through combining a variety of mediums: writing, reading, responding, researching, discussing, viewing, listening, and presenting. Students will discover the many ways they formulate and receive information and begin to think about those forms and contents in a systematic way.
Outside of the University
Naturally, I am an avid reader. But when I am not curled up with a book, I enjoy jogging around town with my boxer mix at my side.
